Wickersham, Josiah
         
         
         
         d. May 16, 1849, in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1838, Wickersham opened a livery stable in Springfield, Illinois. In 1840, Wickersham
            lived in Sangamon County. In 1841, he was
            a deputy sheriff. In 1846, Wickersham served as a representative in the state legislature for Dekalb County, Illinois. In
            1847, he
            was an auctioneer in Springfield, Illinois.
